Business Auto insurance policy that applies to autos owned by or used in your business that protects your business against liability for damages caused by accidents involving your business autos and provides certain compensation to occupants of your business autos injured in accidents. Commercial auto insurance includes similar coverages to those on a personal auto policy, but there are some differences.
BOP (Business Owner Policy)
BOP policies are enhanced insurance policies that combine general liability insurance and property insurance. Providing most of the property (both direct and indirect), crime, and liability coverages that small and medium-sized businesses require.
What is included in BOP:
Covers the most common third-party accidents and lawsuits. That includes client slip-and-fall injuries at your office, accidental damage to client property, and other lawsuits stemming from injuries and property damage.
Protects business property damage perils you own, lease or rent, including building, equipment, furniture and inventory.
Business interruption insurance policies automatically included, and typically cover loss of income, rental value, or both. In general, business interruption insurance policies require a direct physical loss or damage to a property caused by a covered peril (i.e. fire, water damage, etc.) for business interruption coverage to apply.
