Professional Highlights :

• Community Engagement : In my most recent role, I coordinated impactful events within the Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) community, including the Asian Small Business Forum in collaboration with Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares, which further fostered cultural ties and community engagement. Additionally, as the youngest Senior Vice President of the Korean Society of Maryland, I significantly increased participation in Korean festivals, earning recognition from the Maryland Governor for promoting harmonization among local residents.
• Leadership and Advocacy : I am a founding member of the American Korean Businessmen’s Friendship Forum (AKBFF), dedicated to fostering friendship and fellowship between small and medium-sized businesses in the United States and the Republic of Korea. Furthermore, I served as a member of the Peaceful Unification Advisory Council (PUAC) for 5 years, where I contributed to the expansion of "Peace on the Korean Peninsula" (K-Peace) in Washington, DC, presenting innovative approaches for the next generations.

I'll leverage my exceptional communication skills and community-building expertise while representing our community's voices and concerns. This aligns seamlessly with the Governor's office objectives, including enhancing economic and cultural ties with Asian nations.

Personal Statement : As a leader, I have achieved my American dream, taking over the most dominant Korean American Insurance Agency in the Washington DC metropolitan area in 2019. At the age of 39, I became one of the most noteworthy businesswomen in the Asian community. Through volunteering and fulfilling social responsibilities, I have come to believe in the power of community over individualism, both in business and in life. I am enthusiastic about the opportunity to bring my skills, vision, and dedication to the Governor's office, contributing to the betterment of our state as a whole.
